PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 09-2020 DECREE FOR THE UPDATING OF THE NATIONAL RISK ASSESSMENT OF THE ML/FT/FP, THE STRATEGY AND NATIONAL PLAN AML/CFT/CFP dated May 6, 2020. This Decree updates the National Risk Assessment (ENR) of Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, to identify the threats and vulnerabilities of the country in the face of these scourges, determine the probability and consequences of these, assess risk levels and disseminate its results to all sectors involved in prevention for its observance. MINISTRY OF HEALTH

MINISTERIAL RESOLUTION No. 197-2020. Dated April 30, 2020. Through this Resolution, the Ministry of Health prohibited the use in the Nicaraguan territory of disinfectant booths or any other similar device that uses bath or spray chemical substances directly on the human body, because said substances are used to disinfect inert surfaces and there is no quality, efficacy and safety standard backed by scientific reference evidence for their use and to stop the spread of COVID-19. Likewise, it resolved to remove the disinfecting booths or any other similar device that uses bath or spray chemical substances on the human body, which are located in places of entry to institutions and companies, or any other place in the country, for implying damage to the population health. MINISTRY OF DEVELOPMENT, INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE

INTERINSTITUTIONAL AGREEMENT RECIPROCITY MEASURES BEFORE THE RESTRICTIONS ON INTRAREGIONAL TRANSPORT ESTABLISHED BY COSTA RICA dated May 28, 2020. Through this Agreement, the Ministry of Health, the General Directorate of Customs Services, the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce agree to adopt temporarily in Nicaraguan territory certain measures to be applied for the entry of drivers of Costa Rican nationality, means of transportation registered in Costa Rica and the cargo carried by them.
